MCKK (A journey of a Nationalist)

MCKK (The Malay College Kuala Kangsar) is a well-known fully residential school in Malaysia as it was first being responsible to nurture or groom those boys of the royal blood and also those from elite family. It was once being known as 'Maktab Melayu Kuala Kangsar' or recently called as 'Kolej Melayu Kuala Kangsar' but the actual or highly recognized name will be 'The Malay College'. MCKK was founded by the late Malay Rulers of 4 different Malay states namely Sultan Idris of Perak, Sultan Sulaiman of Selangor, Tuanku Muhammad Shah of Negeri Sembilan and Sultan Ahmad of Pahang. These 4 Malay Rulers had been the backbone of the formation of MCKK which had been established in 1905.

The Duty/Role of The Malay College
The role of MCKK to produce future Malay leaders seems to continue on brighting from the moment it was established until now and hopefully forever. The legacy which has been left behind by our super seniors must always be kept deeply in our heart. We must make it as our soul in protecting the welfare of the 'Rakyat' nor Malay, Chinese, or Indian. Although the principle of MCKK is to fight for the sake of the Malays but as a Malaysian, if the others need for aid, then we have to provide them with what they should have obtained. Malaysia is not the old Federation of Malaya anymore as now we have comrades of different races and cultures. We must always stand with the slogan 'Together We Are Strong'. My juniors of batch (0711) are now about to face their final conquest which is to conquer the SPM. Although it's going to be next year but the preparation need to be firm. You are my only legacy in MCKK. You are all under my custody during your Prep School era. Do make me proud boys. Make the whole Malaysians proud and respect to the Malay College. I will always pray for your success. MCKK must always be relevant to Malaysia. It has to walk parallel with the current needs of the nation and with that only, the contributions of MCKK to Malaysia will be recognized by all.
